ABOUT.

Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nicole grew up in a military-base-centered city, rooted in religious and conservative values and traditions—a setting where few women deviated from the status quo. Now based in Los Angeles, Nicole crafts genre-fluid coming-of-age content that follows young women breaking all the rules and challenging societal norms in the pursuit of self-discovery. Her modern narratives often unfold in worlds of dark fantasy and magical realism, drawing worldbuilding inspiration from her academic background in ancient culture, myth, history, and religion.

Nicole holds degrees in Theatre and Art History from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, College of Arts and Science, and NYU Prague. Her work has gained recognition as a selected writer for the Tribeca Film Festival’s N.O.W. Creators Market, Coverfly’s Endorsed Writers Program, Coverfly Pitch Week, and the WarnerMedia Pipeline Project x The Black List.

Her original pilots have been finalists and semi-finalists in competitions such as Creative Screenwriting Magazine’s Unique Voices, Scout Comic’s Horror2Comic, Final Draft’s Big Break, and ScreenCraft’s Screenwriting Fellowship. She is currently a proud member of The Ghetto Film School Roster and Bad Pitch Advanced Screenwriting Lab.

Nicole's award-winning young adult pilot, Sister Stones, was previously in development with RubyRock Pictures (Netflix’s upcoming Geek Girl) with attached producers Zoë Rocha (Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic: The Origin) and Frank Murray (A24’s First Reformed).

In addition to her writing pursuits, Nicole has contributed as a script supervisor and consultant on multiple short films. Recently, she collaborated as a script consultant on Static Film’s upcoming holiday feature, Breakup Season, starring Chandler Riggs (AMC’s The Walking Dead) and Samantha Isler (Molly’s Game), currently in post-production.
